About Us

Since its inception in 2005, Nazeer Foundation has blossomed as a sizeable effort. Although working in underprivileged areas of the world offers many logistical challenges, the Foundation has met resounding success overall. The results from Nazeer Foundation’s efforts and the enthusiasm found in the beneficiaries is most encouraging and has enabled us to forge ahead with more efficiency and better planning.

Nazeer Foundation has contributed to relief efforts worth thousands of dollars in the Kashmir, Pakistan earthquake in 2005, the global tsunami crises in 2005, the Bangladesh floods of 2007, the UNICEF effort for Darfur children in 2008, the Indonesian floods in 2009 and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. These efforts provide hope and sustenance to those most in need, and they are a source of pride for Nazeer Foundation’s team of administrators and donors alike.

Additionally Nazeer Foundation’s on-going projects in rural areas of Sindh, Pakistan have resulted in great achievements. Nazeer Foundation manages several such projects, among them:

  • Teachers’ training programs
  • Montessori program
  • Bachhu Goth Elementary School
  • Kathore High School
  • Computer training classes
  • Vocational training
  • Home-building projects for homeless villagers
  • Clean drinking water systems
  • Library of resources and books
  • Ambulance service
